Membership Notes

Universal Membership

  • Universal Membership includes full use of our Fitness Gym, Swimming Pool, Health Suite and Athletics Track (provided it is not already reserved for a booking). 
  • It also includes  Fitness Assessments, bespoke Fitness Programming and unlimited attendance at all Watershed Fitness Classes
  • Universal Members can enjoy Early Morning Members Only access to our Gym from 6:30am to 7:30am Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

Swim Only Membership

  • Swim Only Membership restricts access to our Pool Complex and Health Suite only and free access to Aquafit classes. 
  • Swim Only members will pay ‘Pay As You Go’ rates for Fitness Classes and for access to the Gym and the Athletics Track

Gym Only Membership

  • Gym Only Membership restricts access to our Fitness Gym only
  • It also includes Fitness Assessments, bespoke Fitness Programming and unlimited attendance at all Watershed Fitness Classes
  • Gym Only members will pay ‘Pay As You Go’ rates to access our Pool Complex, Health Suite or Athletics Track 
  • Gym Only Members can enjoy Early Morning Members Only access to our Gym from 6:30am to 7:30am Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

Off-Peak Access

  • You can access facilities from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm only (excluding Bank Holidays) and will pay our Standard Pay as You Go rates for access at any other time
  • You can attend Watershed Fitness Classes as part of your membership, provided they occur during off-peak hours.  You will pay our ‘Pay As You Go’ rates for all classes that take place outside of Off-Peak hours
  • Off-Peak rates are only available on Adult and Couple Universal Memberships

Adult Membership

  • Adult Membership is for persons aged 16 years and over

Family Membership

  • Family Membership is for one or two Adults who are aged 18 and over and their children aged 4 to 15 years.  Children aged up to and including 3 years are Free Of Charge
  • Customers who turn 16 years before renewal date are regarded as Children until renewal and will be regarded as single adult members thereafter

Student Membership

  • Student membership is available to customers who are in full-time education and aged 16 years and over
  • If you are in Transition Year in Secondary School, you may avail of a special rate for an 8 Month Membership Term of €180 (provided you are aged 16 years or over)
  • Current/valid Student Identification must be provided, or a letter from the School or College confirming your full-time student status

Fitness Classes?

  • Universal and Gym Only Membership includes unlimited attendance at Watershed fitness classes
  • Swim Only members can attend Aqua Aerobics free of charge and will pay ‘Pay As You Go’ rates for all other classes
  • Off-peak Members can only attend classes that take place during off-peak hours and will pay the ‘Pay As You Go’ rates for all other classes that place from 5pm onwards mid-week, at weekends and Bank Holidays

Direct Debit Memberships

  • The minimum term of Direct Debit Membership is twelve months
  • On the day that you join, you will pay a pro-rata amount from that day to the 31st of that month.  The first direct debit payment is taken on the 1st of every month thereafter
  • If opting to sign up to Direct Debit Membership, please note that this is a rolling contract and will continue beyond the twelve month period until you wish to cancel
  • If you wish to cancel after the twelve month period, please ask Reception for a Cancellation Form.  We cannot cancel your direct debit unless we receive a completed form from you.  You must also inform your Bank yourself

How do I contact The Watershed if I have a query or if I want to book a Fitness Class?

  • You can register for an online account which you can then access via our Website or free Mobile App.  This will allow you to view and update your membership and book fitness classes
  • Our Reception team are more than happy to answer any queries at the desk during opening hours.  You can also contact a member of the Management team at any time within and outside of opening hours, by sending a message to us via our Social Media pages, our Website or our Mobile App
